I am having to replace a 2016 Residential, LG French Door Refrigerator that was installed by Foretravel in my 2001 U320. Does anyone
have a suggestion as to the best brand to buy and the best place to purchase? Also, who could do the installation if I cannot get an appointment soon with Foretravel.
Thanks for any information.

Do you want another residential or an RV type, and try and fill out the signature area so we know where you are, can't reccommend
a installer if your 2000 miles away.
I don't know what the best brand is but you will want to get the same size and if it fits through
the door it shouldn't be a big deal.
We put in a Liebherr. It was pricey, but has given us zero issues, but this is not one you will find at Lowe's/Home Depot!! Try an appliance store or look at their website for locations.
It fit through the door (doors removed) of our 97 U295 and we installed it ourselves.
What has failed? many times a condenser fan motor is all that fails. The Frigidaire 22 cu. ft. in my coach just needed a board. The compressors last a long time.
Regarding installation, the remodeling shop at MOT put ours in and did a great job.
We used US Appliance to source the residential fridge we put in our '02 U320 coach. We chose a Samsung French door with the bottom freezer. Loved it. Check with Beeman and see if it is still working well after its install in 2011. US Appliance had the best price and shipped it direct to Foretravel.
Might also want to check Consumer Reports for reviews!
I second Craneman's suggestion. I watched a refrigerator repairman diagnose a friend's refrigerator and he identified the problem within a few minutes. He ordered the part and was back a couple days later to install it. His total time on the job was about 20 minutes.
My '81 FT came with an Amana residential from Foretravel. I replaced it with a Whirlpool in 1995 used it for 18 years before parking it in the yard. My son uses it for and apartment and the refrigerator is still going. I have had to replace the condenser fan motor twice in 18 years,
