Took the coach for a ride for the first time after all the work. The 6v92 with a straight pipe sounds amazing. Victron inverter ran the front mini split and fridge off the engine alternator just fine. She rides like a dream.
Just a word of warning from experience.....
That straight pipe is a lot louder outside the coach than from the drivers seat. Be conservative with the throttle in towns. You may come to the attention of the authorities..... :-[

X2 on what he said, my Cummins is LOUD with a straight pipe!!! I fixing to put a resonator back on it. Now with that said it get a bit loud when you are trying to leave a camp ground at 6 in the morning
Take that baby down the Mobile, Alabama tunnel for some really good sound- Jake on
But still quieter than most Harley's , rice grinders w/ fart pipes ( or whatever they call them now ) or Ford mustangs and many other cars.
Seems as though they used to write tickets for that stuff. But not any more, it's the wild,Wild West now. I've noticed that my turbo spools up faster now with the straight pipe so I'm keeping it.
And Like my son said " the turbo does some muffling it's self' , so there's that.
Having said that we never leave the campground until the last minute anyway so noise isn't as big of an issue.
Got a late start yesterday and rolled into the camp ground at 10:30 at night. Thankfully I was able to idle all the way to our spot. After 6 hours of driving, I'm thinking a resonator might not be a bad idea. ;D
Wonder if all those "NO unmuffled engine brake" signs are making more sense now?
Yes, the 2 stroke diesels with no muffler are LOUD.
As I get older , my street cars and bikes get quieter .
