Jana was sleeping in today, so we had the rear a/c on with the thermostat turned up to cycle the compressor. I was in the front of the coach and there was a loud boom, like an explosion, and the power shutoff. None of the breakers are tripped, the breaker at the pole wasn't tripped.
So we looked over the house batteries, the inverter, breakers, propane on the fridge, start battery, started the coach, all the tires are good, everything looks fine.
Started the generator and everything is working as it should.
Any ideas?
Transfer switch?
Do you now have power at the shore power outlet?
Check to see if GFCI outlet in bathroom is tripped. Push button in to reset.
Did you look on your roof to see if you got hit by a piece of falling space junk? ;)
Upon further review, the transformer blew. Reported the outage and kept the generator running.
I would unplug from the pedestal and wait until the repair is made then test the pedestal before plugging back up.
Thank you all for your quick replies, CoServ came out and replaced the transformer. I had the coach unplugged while they were working on it and grabbed my meter and checked it before I plugged back up.
We have 3 separate services at the farm. One for the greenhouses, one for the microgreens, sprouts and coolers and this one we are on is just for our Coach.
Thank you all again,
