[back hydrulic ram leaking how do i get to it slide is out do i start by removing the sofa ? Fred

It would help us if you could tell us what year and model coach you have as they are not all the same components.

Fred if you take off the bottom skirt on the part of the j lounge that is closest to the ram you want to replace. You will be able to see the mounting points of the j lounge and take them out. It is screwed to the floor. I don't think you need to remove the other part of the couch.

Fred has a u320 40 ft 2000 or 2001.

On the 2000 & 2001 coaches you can get partial access to the arms from underneath the slide outside. I believe they can be disconnected from there, @dsd can probably confirm. Otherwise, the arms are also accessible from the inside but take some work to get to. On my 2001 the aft arm was concealed by wood paneling that was velcroed on and only accessible once the J-dinette was removed.
