Title: Water leaking out of the middle of the drivers side of my coach
Post by: brianefeeze on October 22, 2023, 07:33:58 pm
I have posted about this before and received some great ideas on where to start. After pulling the panel under the sink and not seeing anything, I started the ACs and began working on other things. After about 20 minutes I started seeing water dripping. I had 2 new Furrion ACs installed right before this started but did not think that had anything to do with it until today. Has anyone seen something like this? I still do not understand how this is possible. After turning off the ACs the water stopped in 15-20 minutes so I am pretty sure it's the cause of the water. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. A couple of pics below.

Is it coming from the hose protruding below the basement floor OR is the basement floor wet?

The good news is that it appears your FG bottom under the wet bay has already been opened up to work on the rear bulkhead.

So if any question that water has gotten into the basement structure, remove the new panel and verify/dry it out.

It is not. It is dipping off the side of the hose and coming from behind the panel in the wet bay.

You are going to have to do two things:

Identify and fix the source of the leak.

Open that screwed on FG panel just forward of the rear bulkhead/under the wet bay and really dry it out.  the box beams that form the basement floor structure are not protected from rust!

Look around the ac units.  The water should run off the side of the roof. If water is not draining externally , . It must be running down the inside walls .
