Title: Oasis Flame Out?
Post by: mikez98072 on October 29, 2023, 07:02:23 pm
Hi folks -

We have a 2008 Nimbus XT 336 with the Oasis system. The burner will come on for 20 maybe 30 minutes and then show a fault on the oasis control panel as well as the control panel inside. It keeps showing flame out. If I reset it, it comes back on, (with a lot of white smoke) and will run again (faults cleared) for 30 minutes maybe longer.

Any idea what could be wrong with it? Air in the lines?

thanks,

Mike

When was the last time it was serviced?

I would start with a service kit. If that doesn't fix your problem I would look at the fuel pump.

i just had it serviced a month ago. thats what doesnt make sense. I'm wondering if its stopping burning when the proplyene glycol reaches its correct temp and then flames out vs staying on as a pilot light or something like that?

Easiest path forward is to stop guessing and call Rudy (Reply #1).  He is the AquaHot/Oasis guru.

Mike did call right away.  We had a nice discussion about his issue.  To far away to solve it then.  But suggested a call to ITR tech support Monday morning should get him going.
