Recently I did a complete flush of my cooling system (ISM) and intended to replace all of the hoses. There are three of these hump hoses in the system (two at the radiator and one at the water pump) and I had to re-use two of mine because I was only able to source one (new old stock) from Ebay. All of the other online sources have shown this part as out of stock and I contacted Gates customer service who sent me an email confirming that this is a discontinued part number. I think it's only a matter of time before someone here (hopefully not me... lol) springs a leak on one of these hump hoses and needs to figure out how to deal with that problem. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this yet and have you developed a solution?
Just checked O'Reilly's and they have a gates hose 23568 which is 2 3/4" id vs 2 1/2" id I will probably buy one and compare it to my spare. If the extra 1/4" doesn't look like it would compress I will look for a 1/8th" thick sleeve.

Our local leprechaun parts warehouse had them a while back and they are 2 1/2" id.
