Title: Recliners
Post by: Scubajeeper on November 11, 2023, 01:39:20 pm
The wife has decided that the recliner that came in our coach doesn't suit her so we are looking for something that won't take up too much room in our non slide 36 ft coach. I'd like it to be a wall hugging design and not too wide. She is only 5 1" and is concerned about the seating height, she would like to have one where her feet touch the ground. I'm not sure about the euro style but would consider one if there is one out there that gets enough recommendations. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Mike

RecPro recliners will fit but the vinyl is junk.  Every single seam on both of mine split within a few months...they live in a dumpster now.

Checkout local discount furniture store for a small size. Do you want one with separate footrest as it will give you flexibility to be used separate from chair. Open bottom looks less bulky.

We have 2 small lazy boys that rock and recline. Fabric- as we don't like leather

They're pricy, but love the Stressless recliner.  The small ones don't take up much room.  Might just fit the bill.  The one I have doubles as a recliner and all day desk chair.  Never been uncomfortable.

My mother-in-law gifted me a lazy boy rocker recliner for our coach, the most comfortable and sleep inducing chair I've ever had.
Bless her cotton socks !

I'm all in on the Stressless also, a comfy recliner but it's a couple inches wider than our original recliner.  So... I'm still trying to sell myself on one. Non slide coach.

We put two stressless recliners in our coach after removing the couch in our U295 no slide. The recliners come in small, medium, large sizes. We got a large for me and a medium for Georgia because of the fit for each of us. Ours have the separate foot stool but wish we had gotten them with attached foot rest because of space but is nice when guests stop by for extra seating.
We have the table behind the co pilot seat that puts the foot stool kind of in the walk way. The area between the chairs is a little close together but we have them away from the walls so they will swivel without hitting the wall when upright.
I had to build out a 6 inch box to cover the wiring and heater hoses along the wall.
I hope this helps we wouldn't go back to a couch. Our TV is still over the drivers seat.

LazyBoy makes all different sizes so you should be able to find one she likes. Also the back removes to make it easier to bring in.
