I want to remove the built in Uline icemaker to replace ice making mechanism as outline in this YouTube video:

Just not sure how the unit is installed in the cabinet and how it's plumbed. I'm sure it's easy to slide out, but I've never had a reason to do it so far. Once I understand that the rest of the repair looks pretty easy.
Modified ours but not using the expensive ULine replacement. Ours has a WPL D7824706Q installed.
Only difference I noticed is that it takes longer to make ice BUT the cubes are larger that the original ULine unit.
Ran it for over a week in the garage with no problems, it'll be going south with us soon for our winter travels.
The plastic water line needs to be turned off under kitchen sink that goes from filter to ice maker. Remove plastic bottom cover. Disconnect female brass garden hose connection at ice maker . Have small towel to catch water. You will find ice maker mounting flange screwed to cabinet. Slide out ice maker until you can disconnect 120 volt power cord.
