I am in Main Street Station RV Park(200 N Main Street). I dumped the tanks in prep of heading home in East Texas on Tuesday. The BLACK tank valve is broken and will not close. It is electric (no handle to push/pull). The motors runs. Where do I look for parts on Monday? Thanks in advance for the help.
Pat
Pat, check RV dealers that have parts stores. Bet several stores will have them. A manual valve will get you home.
Go to the last 2 valves on the page and see what matches yours. You can call them great customer service.

That is why I have installed a third valve.
Can you replace it with a regular, easy to find manual valve?
Picture of your installation?
Don't get in a rush. They are closed until January 1, 2024
Had the same problem first week on a one month trip. Good part was valve broke open and not closed. We would not use any water once we disconnected. Before we would leave I would flush the tank good to try and get tank clean. FOT did not have any in stock when I had called them last year. I believe they make two different ones and they had me check something to figure out which ones I had. There is also an allen wrench that you can use to open or close the valve if motor goes bad. When the gears go and motor runs, the allen wrench does you no good. Only solution is to replace the valve.
Here is a pic.
Thanks a lot for the help
Pat,
Here is a pic. Allen Head wrench just spins
Thanks a lot for the help
Pat,
Well, I am a KISS theory guy.
Were it mine, I would replace both the electric valves with regular manual ones.
Put a third valve on and replace the other when you get home. I have no issue with the manual remote cable for what its worth

But, no need for cable operated valves.
Easy to reach in and open/close the valves. Many, many of us have the same configuration and just with manual push/pull valves.
I removed my cables and just use the push pull valve handles, works well for me.
No parts available in Las Vegas. Going Home in the morning. People travel all the time without bath rooms. I can too. Thanks for all the help and responses. See ya'll in East Texas.
Thanks again.
Pat,
Have you tried CW in Vegas? They should have the manual valve as a temp fix.

It looks like a Drainmaster brand. I believe there is a manual over-ride so you can close the valve.
That will not work when gears fail as in mine and OP, override will only work if motor or power failure.
Bummer, just when I was thinking Drainmaster did it right with a backup.
When I re-did my system I stuck with manual valves, other than reliability, when you use them you can feel if the valve is starting to get stiff and needs some lube.
I put in drain Master electric valves in 2020. Kind of a mistake. The black valve failed after about 2 years. But I used to drain Master hose which gives me a fourth valve as I have a manual third valve. The handle broke off of that last year but I have a replacement that the next time I dumped I may just replace both with manual valves. I'll keep the drain Master electric on the gray tank until that two fails and then go back to manual only.
Will this fit in your bay for temp use?
