Post by: NevadaBornRvR on December 20, 2023, 08:09:53 pm
Anyone know what and where I can find this part? mine is getting sticky (or anyway to lube it?).

I have looked all over but I am no expert in this area

This is what I attach the extra hose for the BBQ or fire pit and so on :))  :))  Thanks for any help

Camping World's Storefront Catalog | Camping World (https://www.campingworld.com/search?q=propane%20hoses%20%26%20adapters)

You should be able to identify the fitting part and name at the link above. But be aware that Mr Heater are not top quality propane fittings.  Once you know the part identifaction look for a different supplier with the same part or check with a local propane dealer for the actual part.

A "Extend a Stay" adapter usually includes this outlet.

I replaced mine with this connection.
The lower ball valve is useless because I've had one like it and there cheap so i don't trust it. Its just the only quick connect that i had and the other one above is premium and not cheap.

Yes, that is a low pressure connection (after house regulator).

Fine if your device needs 11 column inches H2O.

But many devices take high pressure vapor= BEFORE house regulator.

Yes. That one is for the grill, it doesn't have the regulator and the one above is for the Buddy heater. It has a regulator but it also has a provision to bypass it.

As an fyi. I found that the little buddy heater when ran off the high pressure side had too many oil problems from leaching out of the ( cheap) lines.  ... so I switched heaters and plumbing.  Happy now.
