Good morning, woke up after a hard freeze last night of 27 degrees. Have a buzzing sound in the passenger rear of the coach that I can't locate or assess. Coach starts right up and hwh system works fine with no slide/leveling issues. I would post the quick video I made but this forum doesn't accept the video format from apple. '04 U295 with Cummins isl. thanks!
Check your transfer switch to see if it is coming from it.
May be your electrical transfer switch,if you are plugged in to power try unpluging and plugging back in,check for any breakers tripped, someone with more info then me will answer soon.
Buzzing did not go away with unplugging from shore power
If your gen will start try running it to see what happens, what is the voltage reading coming in?
I go with Chuck check the transferswitch under the bed. Try turning of you inverter.
Okay, problem resolved! Restarted the coach and unplugged from shore again. I started up the generator and also shut off the inverter for one minute. After everything ran for a bit and was warmed up I shut down again and voila the buzzing was gone. The purr of the Cummins washed out the buzzing sound while it was on so I was unable to ascertain exactly when the buzzing shut off. Any thoughts? Thanks all!
2004 should have the inverter and main transfer switch in one of the streetside bays, not under the bed. ETA - forgot about the transfer switch for the sub-panel that houses the breakers for the inverted circuits
Passenger side rear - all the way in the back or possibly water bay - water pump? Do you have a furnace or an AquaHot (U295 could potentially have either, I believe).
