Title: Porch/handle light stuck on
Post by: dlkj07 on February 14, 2024, 12:08:31 pm
In the past I've had this issue after washing my coach and the porch lights stay on for a few days, then eventually work as normal. This time it's been 2 weeks and it hasn't fixed itself. It hasn't been on the whole 2 weeks but intermittently keeps getting stuck on. I'm assuming I'll need to check a ground some where, guess I'll pull the handle apart and start there?

Could be the Intellitec Touch-lite module buried in the body of the magazine rack, but hopefully just too much water in the lower handle.

Moisture is in the bottom of the handle. There is no switch in the handle there is the module Michelle mentions that activates the light. I had to blow out with air once when I tired of waiting for it to dry out.

Thanks, I'll try this first...in the desert and don't want to spend too much time fiddling with it...guess I could find the fuse and pull it when I go to bed...assuming the fuse for this is under the bed.

So it was half full of water, but still having a problem.

When I reinstall everything it stays stuck on, but if I remove the bottom screw where the ground is attached or loosen it up it works correctly. Could the screw be touching some water in the hole and grounding it. I blew it out but maybe I can't get all the moisture out 🤷‍♂️
