Title: Pre-purchase inspection
Post by: ldlrunyon on February 23, 2024, 09:16:11 am
We are looking at a 2021 Realm that is located at MOT and need a recommendation for Pre-purchase inspection.  Going to reach out to the factory also.  Keith is not allowed on the property apparently, which I do have an issue with, not sure I want to pass on the coach though.

Would be a disqualifier for me, and I would let them know it.  It's one thing to have a disagreement with a former employee.  It's another to ban a potential customer's us of a highly qualified, highly recommended and ethical inspector to perform a service for them.  This has tarnished my trust of MOT and whether Keith is available or not, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I agree with Joe on this. It's BS to not allow an outside inspection from the best inspector around . I would call them on it, and if they hold their ground, walk away. He's a very honest and competent man. What are they afraid he's going to tell you?  This is why my Nimbus is down at Keith's now being repaired then sold...

Realms are a complicated beast. I wouldn't consider buying one without an experienced pro having a look, no matter how many FT's I've owned.

I agree with posts above. Keith inspected my coach before I bought from MOT years ago, and I will never buy from them again as long as they continue to not let him inspect. The plus side is we now have a great service provider in Risch RV where we spent a few days this fall. Thank you Keith
