Title: Exterior Door Trim
Post by: Zack & Ginny on February 25, 2024, 05:39:31 pm
Hey guys, me again. So on the exterior rubber door trim, mine is covered is mold. I have tried, simple green, purple power, bleach, dawn soap, even a touch of gas and nothing will touch this stuff. Does anyone have an idea how to get the stuff off?

It's better to just replace the trim. Best bet is to Google rv door trim.
 Call MOT or FOT also

That was my next thought but how big of a deal is it to change this trim out?

There's been a few posts on replacing the gaskets. Try the "search" function on top right corner.
Haven't had to do it, but would do so if I needed to.

You have to take the door off. I did mine last year along with rescreening the screen door. Black is all that is available and it looks better than the white.

Magic Eraser worked fairly well on ours but the "fix" is replacement.
