Anyone ever use one of those wire finder/identifier tools, may be looking for one to help with my problem,Harbor frieght has a cheap one.
I use the Sperry Instruments ET64220, compact and easy to use.
Available on Amazon
X2 on the ET64220. I've got the same tool. Works good. Note that it can only be used on non-energized wires. That means you can't use it to trace a wire that is part of a powered-on circuit.
I got mine at our local Home Depot.
Ordered one from Amazon,thanks.
I have had all kinds, including Harbor freight. They are worked about the same.
Got the sperry, came with batteries, looks like the watch batteries are dead, will get new ones.
The sperry was no good, sent back to Amazon, got the Harbor frieght model, cheaper and works 2 9 volt batteries instead of watch batterys.
