I had 8 air bags replaced, lube job, wheel seals checked, brakes checked, new air filter, new air dryer, check bulkhead ( just visibly), check damper, fix step and step cover air leaks, check aux. air compressor operation, charged and fixed leak in dash AC.
Had to replace step cylinders, norgren valve, pop off valve. They would have had us in and out in 1 day, but didn't get right part, so had to wait till morning. Keith and Oscar worked till 8PM, the air bags are time consuming.
He did have me crawl under to see the movement in damper, it doesn't seem like much, but not a good sign. Keith offered to call Stevenson in Grandview for us, he was able to get an appointment the next day, which was great. They said excessive play, took all apart, bearing good, nut loose, no tabs broke on locking washer, put back together.
Can't say enough good things about Keith that haven't been said. I find it hard to believe you could get better service or better price anywhere on parts or service. Jim at Stevenson was a good guy to deal with too. The mechanic is experienced with the repair. Keith had just gotten 1 back from them for same repair.
Keith believes my squeak and thump is the bulkhead in the propane tank and battery compartment. Neither one of us had time to check into it further. He has one at shop now that they are going to fix. My Foretravel budget is used up for this year according to my wife. Unless things get worse, I will have him fix it next spring.
Had the damper fix done in Memphis a couple of years ago, right at 1K.
Keith and Oscar put air bags on my coach, as well as a bunch of other fixes last fall. As stated, one cannot say enough good things about Keith.
That was my 08 Nimbus Keith had been working on that had the same damper repair done last week. He had it ran up to Stevenson. Keith and his crew are definitely the men for sure...
