I had a leak in the hydraulic cylinder rear side of the living room slide. I took the slide mechanism out to get to the cylinder. Local shop rebuilt cylinder and I proceeded to assemble and install slide mechanism. Everything works well except the pump will not shut off when it hits the limits of extending the slide until you take your finger off the switch. I could use a phone call from some one that knows how to fix the problem. I have been waiting for a call back for over two weeks from HWH and Foretravel was no help.
Thanks in advance w

I think that there is a 3000 psi switch that is supposed to turn off the pump. Is that hooked up?
I am not sure where the switch is located but there were 2 connectors that go to the limit switches on top of the mechanism so I had to break apart to remove the mechanism and both have been reconnected. It worked properly before removal. I did look at all the connectors close to the pressure release valves and all look good. Not sure where to go next?
When you take your finger off the switch and the pump stops- is that a problem?
No it is not a problem but it says in the manual to keep switch depressed until it completes it's cycle and when the red light goes out take your finger off the switch. I held the switch down for about 5 seconds after slide had reached the limit of extension and decided it was not going to shut down and figured it was a malfunction. The pump and red light stayed on until I took finger off switch.
