Title: Baggy Ceiling Repair
Post by: kimosabe99 on June 05, 2024, 07:14:33 pm
I finally tackled the sagging ceiling .  I decided not to open it up totally because of the mess of dried up glue, disintegrated foam, rust etc.  I took down the vinyl strip and replaced it with a finished piece of pine.  I also found some buttons that matched the originals perfectly.  Buttons come with a satisfactory screw for installation. Thus the tuck and roll look. (link below) This Minwax stain was a good match also.  Anchored wood to ceiling with 1/12" self tapping metal screws.  It should last as long as the coach. ^.^d

All in all, a pretty clean fix.
