Title: passenger seat front, electric.
Post by: quickmagic on June 09, 2024, 08:18:20 pm
On my recently purchased 1984 Foretravel, I just discovered that the right front seat is a power seat, which is not working. After looking it over in detail I have pretty much come to the conclustion that the power seat controlls mounted on the bottom of that seat. I have seen power switches similar or even identical, but dont remember where I saw them.  Does anyone know where these can be bought, or know which car they originally came in. If I knew that, I could probably find one in a wrecking yard.
                                        THANK YOU,            BILL

First make sure you have 12 volts at the switch.

It's a Chrysler product. You may have the wire unplugged

On mine, the ground wire was not making contact inside the plug.

It looks like a chrysler switch, it does have power to the switch, the switch is old and brittle, it looks easiest to just replace the switch if anyone happens to know what it is from.

Pretty sure it is a Chrysler switch. Look on EBay and Amazon to see if you can match it up. I think our 78 Chrysler had a switch like that.
