Title: 2004 radio replacement panel
Post by: kgrover on June 23, 2024, 01:40:03 pm
I designed this and my buddy 3d printed it. It goes in the spot where the original radio is. I replaced the popout screen next to it with a new radio and didn't need 2 radios. The cutout is for the switch to turn the radio on.

That's very nice!
Something similar would be nice in our coach to cover the hole where the ADIT monitor was.

I use the monitor space to put the Sealevel display and it's a great place to put it as the
wires are already there.

I did the same as Peter. Easy to monitor and simple to wire in.

The display I put in is a Android head unit.

New Released Screen 15.1 Inch Car Navigation System With Mirror-link Function (https://www.joyingauto.com/new-released-screen-15-1-inch-car-navigation-system-with-mirror-link-function.html)

So I just pulled the feed from the tank levels into it. I also wired in a new backup camera. The old one was toast. The old graphics look a little odd on that 15" high def screen, but the information is all there. The nice thing is that this unit can run the CoPilot GPS app so I have actual directions that I can use and not just google trying to send me under 10' tall bridges all the time.

Any chance he's taking orders for something similar.

The selected media item is not currently available.

I've added the files to an album. I'll ask if he wants to make more.
