I have never used my fog lights. How do you turn them on. I can't find a switch.
Thanks
On the left panel by the retader there is an auxiliary rocker light switch which turns them on and off.
What would cause those lights not to work.
Ty
You may need your ignition key turned to ON, and possibly your headlights on, before the AUX lights will illuminate.
After that, if they still don't work:
1. Bulbs burned out
2. Bad AUX lights circuit breaker (probably located on circuit breaker board behind removable panel in front of passenger seat)
3. Broken or disconnected power wire or ground wire
4. ?
That was it. The ignition has to be on, and the headlights turned on also. I've had this coach for 5 years now and I never paid any attention to this. Now I know.
Thanks
On my coach they come on with the key. Mine was wired this way so it saved me the bother as
in Canada it is law that you need driving lights.
I replaced the OEM Hella halogen sealed beam fog lights with aftermarket LED flood lights. When driving on dark roads or in strange campgrounds, the LEDs fill in nicely where the crappy stock headlight beams don't reach. Several other Forum members have also done this upgrade with varied types of LED units.
I wired the AUX light switch power feed to a "always hot" source so I could turn the LED lights on without needing to turn on the ignition key OR the headlights. Handy when parked in a campground if I want to see what's causing a commotion out in front of the coach, but don't want to power up all the other circuits that come on with the ignition key.
My LED installation if curious:
What did you do to your coach today IV (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=23683.msg215600#msg215600)
