What has anyone done to replace the beloved Kool O Matic kitchen fan. I'm thinking mine is in its last legs control wise

Did you have the aluminum plate on top of the kool o matic?

I installed the MaxAir many years ago and no longer have any of the parts.

FYI: I installed the remote in the hole where the former Kool O Matic control used to be.

Bruce: Trust all is well. Is it just the motor or is the unit trashed? There is a direct replacement motor from Napa auto parts. I posted about it some where here on the forum. Been 3 or 4 years ago

Thanks Steve it's the motor speed sw, found one on eBay. Love the fan got to keep it going as long as possible. Already did the motor years ago with the NAPA motor.
