Title: 2002 U320 Cant turn interior lights on or off (intellitec multiplexing)
Post by: Tom West on July 24, 2024, 09:17:55 am
Good morning.  Got a problem with the lights for the bed bath kitchen and living room. Is there a reset button for module I?  The lights that are on cannot be turned off and the lights that are turned off cannot be turned on.

Pull fuses under the fridge and keep your fingers crossed.  I was told by M&M that the 02 system (with the little buttons) has a fatal flaw and is unrepairable.

The Intellitec system is powered off by the 12v salesman switch near the door. Try turning it off for a few minutes and then back on. Normally it will reset ok. If not, provide an update here.

Tried the 12 volt power switch, it did not resolve the problem.
Spoke to Fore travel did some diagnostic and determined it could be the Module.  At this point we will be going to the fore travel.  The water pump works. Every component wired to the switch panel does not work correctly.  The first one pushed will turn on and not turn off without disconnecting the module.

When I had an issue it was with specific keypads acting up. Not the entire system. I have approximately 8-10 keypads and 2 or 3 were having a problem. I speculate that it was some kind of power surge that may have corrupted keypad programming.

I was able to troubleshoot the problematic keypads and locate the software to reprogram them, which resolved the issues. I did not replace any components. Your problem sounds different.

My pump is controlled by the Intellitec system so I would have had a challenge if the entire system was nonfunctional.
