2010 directory has a Mr.& Ms. Wickum from MT.
Welcome to the 38ft Foretravel club.
Congratulations, what a sweet unit!
Happy trails
Awesome find, the inside is a time capsule, like it just came from the factory.
I've never seen the engine air intake pipe routed through rear cap, at least not from the factory, quite unique.
Congrats!
congrats!
Agree. Original purchaser must have anticipated driving on very dusty roads.
Looks like a big toadstool growing up there!
Looks like a great unit, congratulations on the purchase.
Now go ahead and try to catch up on the miles!
(You'll probably never do it but trying will be fun)
The Oregon coach. Congrats, I considered it myself at one time. Should serve you well
Very nice!
Enjoy
I'd call that a beautiful coach.
This is my 3rd Foretravel:
-1st 2003 U320 38'-tag two slides,
-2nd 2008 Nimbus 40'-tag four slides,
- 3rd 2003 U295 38'-no tag two slides: I am having more fun with this one, inside is like new and untouched. The 400 Cummins is lighter with only two slides there is no need for tag. It drives as well or better than my two with tags. I am starting to feel this is the best one of the three. Foretravel 2003 brochure does not show a 38-no tag, but did show it in 2004. Anyone out there own one, wonder how many Foretravel made?
Thanks everyone for the comments.
I'm thinking that is very rare.
The glossy brochure does not mention a 38' U295, but it is shown in the spec sheet here: https://wiki.foreforums.com/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=through_the_years:foretravel_2003.pdf
That shows it had the same wheelbase as the 36' and was available as a a PBDS.
Be sure to get your wheel/axle weights so you know ho much room you have available.
Congrats, its a beauty.
No tag 38' used to be 243" WB
Do you have a spec sheet? The numbers in the wiki came from Foretravel themselves. Would love to add the oddballs.
Very nice find, not sure about the pre filter location. I installed a Donaldson pre filter behind the left tail light, after a 5 mile drive down a dirt road to a friends house my filter was plugged. Now after 3 yrs my filter looks new. Jim.
