Title: Facebook posts for parted out coaches
Post by: Chris m lang on August 16, 2024, 05:48:28 pm
My wife saw a post on facebook about someone parting out a Foretravel in Colorado but we couldn't figure out where or how to get ahold of them. Does anyone know anything about this situation--I would like to talk to him
If you know anything please PM me
Thanks
Chris

No, you wouldn't like to talk to him.  He will scam you.

These "parting out" posts on Facebook are 100% scams.  They scrape photos from Visone and other wrecking yards for most of the big RV brands and post them as ads in For Sale and Owner's groups on Facebook, asking you to message them.  They turn off commenting to the posts as well.

Do Not Engage and report to Facebook and the group admin if they're posting in a group.

On the Foretravel Owners Group Facebook page, which I am administrator of, the post was a scam and I deleted it and the author.

Based on my experience, E-bay isn't much better. Be EXTREMELY careful. E-bay does not allow ANY negative ratings/posts of sellers.
Don't believe me? Try posting a negative review of something you bought.

I never buy anything online I will always go look at the product for sale before I buy--if it is out of driving range I just don't buy!!!
And you are right about ebay
