Hi, i'm looking at a 2000 Foretravel, 36 foot U320 and i am wondering about the rear side radiator, after 20 years of services are they still good, i long does the engine radiator last ? And btw what's about the gen radiator too ?

Each one is different depending on what it's been exposed to and how it's been cared for. My 1993 U 300 With a 6V92 Detroit Deisel has its original radiator and it's fine. I keep the fins clean, inspect it often for debris and leaks. When we bought the coach 9 years ago we flushed the system and replaced the coolant. We did that again last year after testing the coolant.
I had to re-core my generator's radiator a few years ago.
A thorough inspection by a Foretravel experienced inspector is vitally important for any coach you are considering.

Do a worst case scenario and price a recore at a shop near you,if you can remove it yourself you will save money,if the radiator
is not leaking now and looks good there is no inspector on the earth that can tell you how long it will last.
Ours looks like new after 22 years but it's never been driven on treated roads in winter. Driving on snowy roads with chemicals/salt is a killer for rear engine coaches so you need to pull the side cover off and check it closely. Pulling it yourself will save quite a but but it's still an expensive proposition

My repair with core and new fluid ran 3200.00 with me doing the repair, not a hard job. Getting the fan brackets to line up with the bolt holes was a process, did get to reseal the fans and do some general cleanup while I was at it.
