Was preparing to leave for a trip and have a problem with the HWH level/travel mode. Went to start motorhome and batteries were low. Used boost to get the motor turned over and started right away. Then noticed passenger side from and rear airbags are not airing up to travel ride height. Bags have pressure but not airing up to height. Used the manual raise button but only the front raises.
Charged start batteries overnight. Next morning same issue.passenger side will not go to travel ride height Found an aluminum box on first bulkhead behind LP tank compartment .has two fuses and two relays. Fuses not burnt. Is there another control box? It's a 680 series HWH according to the button panel lay out in the coach. Does not have a store mode . All the panel button lights work. When putting in level mode the drivers side bags adjust but not the passenger side.
Parked the bus and ending up driving the pickup to our destination. Been trying to think what could be wrong. Seems like a fuse since one side is not working? There should be more than two fuses?
Possible you have a bad solenoid valve, or the controller is stuck in "Level" mode. For travel the air system should be all mechanical using the axle height valves. Usually, 2 for the rear and one for the front. I would think that all the solenoids for leveling should be turned off for travel. Do you have wiring diagrams for the HWH controls? You may need to do some wringing out here.
Your problem on first day
might have been due to low battery voltage, which sometimes causes erratic HWH operation. However, if batteries were fully charged on second day, that possible cause should have been corrected.

Will not go in travel Mode:
In the hwh box in the bay you have a hot all the time fuse, make a jumper from the hot all the time fuse to the un plugged 2 gray wires marked travel, the coach will go into travel IF the travel solenoids working.
Thanks i have that diagram.there must be another HWH box because the diagram shows 7 fuses total . The control box I mentioned above only has two fuses. Is there another control box mounted somewhere else?
It's a goes into travel mode....just the passenger side bags don't .i'm thinking a fuse blew.
On a '97 320 the HWH box should be mounted on the ceiling of the basement just behind the HWH compressor. (almost midship) Now at that age a previous owner could have been creative and moved it for unknown reasons. That is an early '97 so they could have been hunting a spot to put it as some of those coaches had the big propane tank and the A/H was mounted out in the middle of the bay.

One other thought is that coach should be a 600 series as the 680 series wasn't available at this time of this coach was built. NOW the catch has had several owners parts could have been changed out .. So we need to find out if this coach still has the 600 as there is several differences in the 600 and the 680.

My touch pad matches the 680 series. I do not have
A "store" mode button. 680 made 1997-2003.
I will look for the control box next to the compressor when I get back to the RV. Hoping I find a blown fuse. If not, I'll put a Schroeder valve in the bags and air them up to get to the shop.
I had a 1997 U295. In the front bay in the very middle facing the front of coach there was a cover. Behind that cover was my air compressor, charger/inverter and the HWH box that had the fuse for travel mode.
The ride height valve for the rear on that side might be bad or the coil for the travel solenoid for that side might be bad. Can you manually raise the coach, if you can, then pull out the travel fuse and then you should be able to drive it to the shop.
When you go into the travel mode the green travel light tells you that the computer is sending 12 volts go all raise (top solenoids) so the ride height control valves can set and maintain the travel height.
Those solenoids are continuously powered open in the travel mode.
If you are getting the light and the right rear isn't raising to travel height I would swap the top two solenoids on the rear manifold.
If the problem moves over you have a bad solenoid
If it doesn't I would check for 12 volts at the wire going to the right travel solenoid.
If you have power there you have a ride height control valve problem.
Be sure the arm on the ride height control valve is parallel to the ground with the coach at travel height.
Thanks. It's the entire right side that won't go to Travel mode or do anything in level mode.
I was able to correct issues on my coach by removing the 12 volt plug from the main HWH control board and rebooting after batteries were fully charged.
Check the connection on the control pad.
Easy to do.
That connection needs to be pushed in some times.
Was able to manually air up the passenger side bags. No bad fuses found.
Once I was aired up to ride height, I pulled the travel fuse on the HWH panel to lock the height in. This allows me to drive it.

So your raise solenoids
are working.
Looking like the problem is the control pad or computer. ?
You might unplug and reconnect all plugs in the computer.
Also check all the fuse connections.
I would suspect a bad travel solenoid or a ride height valve.
It ended up being a bad control valve on front and rear
