Title: 2LRA connector for H9406 halogen docking lights
Post by: Realmccoy on January 22, 2025, 12:17:20 am
My 98 U270 uses four H9406 halogen flood lights with 2LRA connectors. The factory connections are single female plastic connectors. On one of my lights they keep falling off, too loose. I'm not having much luck finding new connectors for these bulbs. All the searches turn up dual connectors. Any suggestions are welcome. I don't use my docking lights often but want them all to work when I do.

Stupid idea coming up but try putting a thin line of solder on about 1/4" end of those contacts to see if that holds female connection in  place.
Maybe the sun here in Canary Isles has affected my brain, but this idea can be removed if it does not work.

John, That sounds like some of the shade tree engineering I might come up with.  And it just might work!
