Title: Water system accumulator
Post by: oldmattb on April 19, 2025, 01:59:33 pm
Does my 1998 U-320 36-foot have one?  I was sure I saw it once, but maybe it was in a previous coach.

I seem to remember the water pressure providing a flow for a few seconds before the pump came on.

thanks!

It should be hid behind a vanity cover in the basement just above the water pump and heat radiator UNLESS a previous owner has removed it and installed one of those variable pumps.

I do have a variable-speed pump, a Flojet Sensor VSD 4.5.  I checked the numbers on it, and verified it online.  I guess if I had an accumulator, it would be around here.  I guess the blue tank was on the previous coach.

Thanks!

You see that carpeted vanity cover that has the black carpet. Behind that is where the accumulator tank was located OEM.
Looking at that pic. you also see that there is a white sharkbite press fitting 90. That is an add on when the system was replumbed for the new pump.
