Title: Entry lighted bar handle
Post by: Michael Riensche on April 30, 2025, 01:27:53 pm
I know I've seen posts on replacement lighted entry handles but I can not find the posts. I should have saved them in light of a day like today 🤪

My lighted entry grab handle broke today. Who knows where and what the replacement grab bar is?

Thank you all for your help.

Michael

If just the plastic round hand hold broke, Foretravel parts have them.

Ordered ours from Foretravel last summer  Had to reshape one end on the bench grinder Do not over grind so as to have a tight fit

Google is your friend.  " Rv entry door assist handle"

I'm on my phone and don't see how I can add the link.

Great suggestion. I ordered something. If it works with no new holes, I'll post a link on the Forum.

This is one site that I had bookmarked: Brite Bar Handles Archives - Fleming Sale OEM (https://flemingsalesoem.com/product-category/brite-bar-handles/)
I have not purchased anything from them but I believe others on the forum have.

You can find a suitable replacement on line.  If you can't find the exact shape and your broken one can be taped together for a model, a generic ones are easily shaped to match the old one.  You can do this with a heat gun and a vise, being careful, and going slow.  Plus using some padding in the jaws of the vise.
