Anyone replaced their original roof ac's and 4 Button thermostat with Furrion units and new thermostat? Those who have installed them what is your opinion of them What all is needed to make the gas furnaces work with them?
I believe I just read a review here of the Furrion units with a low opinion of them. Can't find it now but hopefully that person will chime in
I replaced the front AC with a Furrion,it's much louder than the original
The AZ RV Expert has a YouTube video on his trials and tribulations of installing a Furrion and getting an accurate thermostat reading.

Patrick, Thanks for posting this link. It is very interesting and informative. With my 25 year old AC's I may be in the market for replacements in the future. Hopefully the distant future. In the mean time I will just keep replacing the capacitors periodically as needed.
I installed a new Furrion A/C in the living area of my U300, in May of 2024. It was so loud inside that after one season, I removed it. Replaced both front and rear with New Tosot 15,000 BTU heat Pumps, In November of 2024. EZ to install, and hook up, they have both on the unit controls and remote control. https://tosotdirect.com/products/15-000-btu-recreational-vehicle-air-conditioner
These are NOT for Ducted Systems, and they are 13,000 watt heat pumps
You would probably have to install a thermostat for each furnace, because your old thermostat will not be functional.
I recently replaced my 13yr old dometics with furrion chill 15k units with soft starts.
Louder ? Well I really can't hear the compressors over the air flow. They move a lot of air and if you have any obstructions in the ceiling you will know it.
So far I like them. No issues with the thermostat. One thing you need to know is that the fan will always run while the AC is powered on. When sleeping I like the constant white noise over the starting and stopping of the dometics.
I installed one last year in the front, hard to read the thermostat, it cools ok, my wife hates it, will probably replace it soon, I don't recommend.
If only there was an inverter Midea for the roof, like the u-shape window units I use that cost $280 (on sale) and are amazing.

I am going to swap the direct replacement dometic in to replace my Dometic 63215 units and just swap the boards to retain the five button thermostat as well as swap in the soft starts i put on my old ones. Decision has been made...i think
What is your direct replacement?? Mine are dometic 630215.421 13,500 BTU with heat pump 5 button boards,The New AC same BTU with OUT! heat pump. Use to come with a 10 button board?? All 3 of mine have the 5 button boards, I have 2 brand new 10 button boards that I've had for years,So if new AC comes with 10 button board I will buy one 10 button controller??
This is the one that works on the new controllers. I love the fact it has timers for 2 zones. I don't know how you would get a three zone Dometic thermostat though.
Dometic 3314082.011, OEM Dometic CCCII Multi Zone Thermostat, WHITE, OB | eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/365470551544)
This is the one i am installing. Taking the control boards out of my old ones(they were upgraded so i could use the 5 button thermostat) and putting them in the new units
