Title: Question about toilets
Post by: Peter on May 09, 2025, 10:04:52 pm
So someone educate me why there are not any residential toilets installed in coaches. Is it because of the amount of water used?  If that is the case and you are hooked up with sewage lines and fresh water that should not be an issue. Also alot of the new toilets are very sharp looking and do not use hardly any water
Thoughts??

Probably a tradition dating back to when they had huge tanks and space was limited. A Dometic 320 works perfectly well

I second Ernie's opinion, I can't imagine the tank full sloshing around. Jim.

We have  a residential n love it...not sure I could go back!?

I have learned to turn off the water pump when traveling...on the roughest roads I could get a splash of water out the tank...but I think I half filled the black tank on a long bouncy ride from the toilet constantly topping itself off!

Peter, most all of us went with the Domestic 320, but the Glacier Bay that they sell at Home Depot works just as fine and it is usually on sale for $99 plus tax!
