Has anyone used the SharkBite Max 1/2" check valve for PEX tubing? Have you had success with them? I replaced the check valve at the hose reel some time back with one and very quickly it would no longer check the water flow with the pump on. After a few months, the second one no longer checks the water flow with pump on. These valves are rated for 250lbs pressure. So I'm curious if anyone has had similar experience with them, or hopefully a better experience.
Bill, I have a couple of the older brass Sharkbite check valves in use for 5 plus years...no issues. No exp with the newer Max model.
