Hi everybody, on my 98 FT the radio does not turn on
The first common sense step is to check the five amp fuse
After looking all over, I could not find any fuse panel for 12 V electrical
Finally, I was told that panel on the right side of the entry steps is removable and the 12 V electrical is back there
I did remove the panel and saw a bunch of automatic reset breakers
Did not see any colored fuses
I even didn't see an index of which fuse or which breaker belongs to what
Unless I am mistaken, and I didn't look properly can someone please advise me how to find out about 12 V electrical safety (fuses) system, and where is located at
And for now the most important is how to find out why the radio does not come on
I didn't want to pull the whole radio out to check the fuse behind it if any before I make sure there is power coming to it from the fuse panel
Really appreciate any advice

Should be similar to the schematics for a 1997 that Pamela and Mike have in the Media section under Schematics Schematic Library (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?media/album/schematics.194/)

Looks like top row, far right, breaker #43 for the radio, #44 for the surround sound, and next row down #54 for radio memory.
Also found this post which might be of help if it's not the resettable breaker
1997 U270 Sony dash radio - no power (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=46631.0)
The top of your dash should also open so you are check out the back of the radio without removing the radio.
There is probably a switch to turn it on without the key so you can listen to the radio while parked.
ours has a switch for the radio and amp.....
Have you tried pushing the volume control knob? That's how I turn mine on.
See this topic. You "might" have the same issue I did.

I don't know if your new to your coach but my 2002 has a audio/video speaker switch in the right upper cabinet above the dash. Jim.
I am trying to attach a picture on my reply
Can someone tell me how please
I know how to do it on a new posting
Yes Jim, actually not only i am new with my FT i didn't own an RV before this
I see a small I pad size screen by sun visor on passenger side which i have no idea what it is
I don't know how to attach its picture with this reply
It has RADIO CONTROLLED print on it

Press the green reply button, then bottom of that screen should have location to add files
Thank you, I learned one more thing
This is the screen, which I don't know what it is. Does anyone have any idea?
