Hi everybody, does anyone know information about 98 Foretravel's headlights? What kind of vehicle do they belong to?

Late '80's/early '90's Ford Bronco or truck (assuming the coach hasn't had a headlight conversion - OEM are rectangular; conversions are round)
are ford truck head light direct swop? no modification needed? ford has single headlight plus turn signal and we have dual plus turn signal?
i also see the ford listing on Ebay the headlight with attached turn light, if i purchase two ford headlight I will end up with an extra turn light?
if some one has done this please advise , adding led bulb could be the second step
i just want to see if i can replace my FT passenger head light with two new ones from ford ? rather than spend over 500.00 buying the Foretravel headlight

does anyone know the what is the combination of the 1998 FT four headlights? if I am purchasing ford bronco's or Ford truck Headlight for my passenger side Ft , do I buy two bronco Passenger side headlight? and get rid of one of the turn lights which comes with the light?
or the two passenger side FT headlights are a passenger and a driver side lights of a ford bronco

I like these because there is no prism in the lens. You will need two sets and will cut off the turn signal lens for the center High beam location. They were simply the worst headlight ever manufactured IMO. You probably will install LED head light bulbs and will be hated by all oncoming traffic. I recommend staying with the Haligen bulbs because they were engineered for the lens. This is more than the typical plug and play installation for a DIY project. This will require modifying parts before they will fit just like Foretravel did when they originally installed them. Please walk out in front of you coach and see how brite / blinding they are. If you can't stand in front and look at them neither can the oncoming traffic.
You might also consider moving the headlights up to the next section of panel, they're almost useless where they are.
Many others have gone down this path, if you do a search on the forum, you'll see there's lots of options.
But if you were to move them up higher you would no longer see all the dips in the road at night. I love the idea of moving them up higher but the desire to do it becomes less every day. Most sport car headlights are actually higher. Crappy design with pathetic headlights . Could enable low beam bulbs that are unused in the high beam position and double your worthless headlights. I have incredible projection headlights and they show every dip in the road and you can see rabbits crossing the road real far away but the light reflects off or is shining parallel the road and doesn't illuminate it as much as I would like. I have not had that problem of not seeing dips, or anything else for that matter, since I upgraded my lights.
I was being sarcastic to the fact that the headlights are so low that they regularly skip shining light in the dips making them appear dark. If your lights are higher or are defused more you wont see dips, but being defused will generally cause dissatisfaction from oncoming traffic. Easy to test. Wait till it's dark. Turn your low beams on and walk 100-200 feet ahead of your coach. Your are much higher than oncoming traffic. You should easily be able to look directly at your headlights without causing white spots when you close your eyes. Mine are literally like looking at the sun at 16" above the ground. Above that there is ideal cut off and minimal light. Quote (since I upgraded my headlights) little more information would be helpful to everyone. Upgraded your stock ford lens? Installed un-engineered LED replacement bulbs? Or proven aftermarket lights by a certified installer. On the headlight spectrum the 1991 Ford headlight hold the number one position as the worst headlight ever. With prisms installed in the lens to refract light to improve there faults. I own two vehicles that run them :headwall: Foretravel with Hi end projection LED headlights with curtain light stops and and 91 bronco with lamps probably 4 feet off the ground converted with HID projector with curtain light stops for low beams . Both are DOT legal in the low beam position and NON DOT in hi beam position.
