Title: New Foretravels at MHSRV
Post by: turbojack on July 16, 2025, 06:20:58 pm
I just counted how may new coaches they have for sale.  There are 12 - 2026 units and  11- 2025 units.  Compare this to a few years ago that they were selling the next year coaches before they were already made for list price. I think when times were good a few years ago they were building 40 coaches per year and were getting ready to try and up production.

Can you tell if that's just MHSRV's inventory, or all of Blue Compass's (given they're the same company)?  Having been to MHSRV (although not in several years), it would be very unusual for them to floorplan that many $1M-ish units from the same manufacturer in Alvaredo.

I am going to say this is for both locations.  Texas and Florida.  When I looked a long while ago they were all the coaches but some were sitting in Florida.

MHSRV also lists 1 used 2025 on RV Trader and FT has 2 used 2025's on their website.

I didn't include any used coaches in my Count. Only new coaches.

Just a short couple years ago, new boat dealers were empty too.  Now they are pretty full.  Same with car dealers.

I wonder if they are building coaches just to keep the factory folks employed and things moving. Having old inventory is never good. As Foretravel is still a bit of a "production" coach I think the limited model and availability is not helping. Not everyone wants a 45-foot coach. That 37-footer was too far the other way especially for the price and being on K2 chassis.  As I really like the Foretravel product I hope they figure things out before the finances make them suffer again.
