Finishing up my electric drain valve install today , can't say I'd be willing to do that again. But like most of my projects I over engineer it and overthink it. So it took a while.
Ended up with control on the inside and out so that now I can just peek out the window and marvel at my convenience. The master is inside so I have toggle that before I go outside and there are switches there also.
3 drain valves with one main one black and one gray
Pictures are missing?
I could have predicted that response. Tomorrow.....
Couple of pics of my drainmaster electric drain valve install.
Bob , please post any issues you have down the road, when I bought my coach one of mine did not work. I replaced it and both would not work intermittently. I replaced another one and contacted Drain Master working through all possible issues. The new valves have a limit switch so may be better. Now both valves only work when they want to, thank goodness they have a manual way of operating. Switching to manual valves will be allot of work. Jim.
I have replaced 1 little over 2 years ago and one this year. The gear stripes on the valve when opened. I do not have the latest ones with limit switch. When this happens. Manually doesn't work either.
As a side note. Both valves died shortly after wife put pine sol /calgon in tank. Not sure if that removed the grease that you put on the valve before you install them
I believe mine are the latest generation with the limit switches. So there's that and. ,, fingers crossed.
Here's a pic of the finished product. Of course nothing is ever REALY finished. If you notice a void in the upper right hand corner, it's because that's where the new tank flush system will go. I just haven't decided where in the black & gray tank I want the nozzles to be.
On the wet bay side and I'd have to shim out the wet bay panels about an inch but the water would shoot to the opposite side and clean the sensors along with any pyramid build.... But on the other side I'd just have to trim the deco panel behind the chairs. And the water would shoot to the drain side.
Such a big decision.
Can you reach everything through that access panel?
Oh yes. The access panel location came first and then placement of other stuff followed. I can reach both electric valves if I need manual but. 🫰🫰
