I have only heard raving reviews about the Atmos (which I have myself) and complaints about the Furions
Is not one of them variable capacity (variable RPM compressor) inverter drive and the other is regular on/off?
We recently replaced both and went with a Gree product. I think Gree makes a few different brands.
But I like the Tosot one for a few reasons. One is it has an App so it can be turned on or off remotely. As a rule we usually don't go off And leave the air or the heat on but now I can remotely turn it on from the grocery or theater whatever.
Supposed to be more efficient. So TBD on that one.
Some are not adjustable and this one is. You can either have the louvers on the ends moving up and down or lock them in place.
And, one of the most distinctive things is the Tosot model has a downdraft option where you can shoot about 50% of the air (hot or cold) directly downward. In the bedroom it shoots it to you instead of the wall and in the LR we sit about directly under the unit so if your in a hurry you can direct it straight down. Check it out.
And they were offering a soft start tack on for $100.00.
Tosot is 25% off on Amazon. I'm not quite ready but I will use this when I replace my AC's.
