Title: Heating fan under the sink
Post by: oldguy on September 02, 2025, 03:56:22 pm
My heating fan isn't working. I'm wondering if the wire goes comes right from the Aqua-hot or
is spliced in with other fans. I just had the Aqua-hot out and did I screw up with the wiring. It
doesn't look like an easy job to get at the fan.

Others may know for sure, but I believe power for fan comes from AH controls.

@Rudy probably will be along soon and correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe that fan is zone 2 in your year coach and should feed through the center cube relay.  Check it to see if that relay is loose and while you are there check the fuse block right above the relays to see if you have a bad fuse.  As stated Rudy will know for sure.

It's zone one in my coach and the fan under the the couch and the dash works so I need to know if
the is more than one wire at the cube to feed those fans. If I have time tomorrow I will pull out my
stuff and check the cube tomorrow.

Just in case you end up needing a new heat exchanger: Search: 1 result found for "cozy ii heat" — HeatMyRV (https://heatmyrv.com/search?q=cozy+ii+heat)

I keep one on hand at all times.  I have had 2 originals start leaking coolant over the past 4 years.

Peter, on mine the fan power goes through an Aquastat which is on the hose. The hose must get up to a high enough temp before the fan will come on.. Many possoble points of failure including air in the hose, poor contact to the hose, etc. But you can jumper past it to test.

Mike, I have only owned my coach for eighteen years and I never knew about the Aquastat.  I have always noted the several second delay between when I call for heat with the thermostat and when the blowers begin.  I always assumed it was a timed delay regulated by the AquaHot controller.  I will have to check this out for my own education.

Thanks for the (new) information.

Got access to the Aqua-hot and found one wire I missed put it on with the other one I had marked with
the same number and the fan is now working. So one wire runs the fan under the sink and the other wire
runs the dash fan and the one under the couch.
