Good morning I am in need of 2 wall brass sconces I have read where ones have changed their interior sconces out Foretravel does not have them
Do you need the entire sconce or just the glass shade?
eBay can be a source if you're patient, but it's getting very hard to find polished brass. You can also find the occasional replacement shade there.
We opted for a smaller eBay-sourced sconce and Steve made a custom backplate Updating the LR and BR wall sconces (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=49701.0)
We have 2 with bad switches I can change those but one as thumb screw inserts for the globe spinning so you can not loosen globe screws and one has a bad bulb socket We may have found an old time lamp repair shop in Columbia sc Will try that as we are trying to stay original Thanks
If they are the same ones we took out of our LR, per the 2000 U295 parts manual they were Gustafson Lighting 52-536XRYZ14. These are the ones with the curved lower arm. I think some coaches had a different sconce with a crystal sphere or cylinder on the bottom.
You are welcome to our take offs (or parts from them) for the cost of shipping if you want the parts to cobble together a good fixture. One does have a good globe base. The other has a crack in the globe base that was repaired with JB Weld and a non-brass replacement screw. I think both glass globes are okay but can check them for chips you might want those. No idea on the switches. They've been migrating their way to the "bulk/metal recycling trash" pile.
If interested, PM me your shipping address and what parts you'd want.
