Title: fan motor for dash
Post by: dans96u295ft on September 16, 2025, 10:27:28 am
My old 1996 dash fan motor started squealing, it's the original. Is this a tough replacement? Part still available?
Thanks

With your coach not having an Aqua Hot unit it isn't that bad of a job. You have to take the center section of the dash apart to get to the fan motor along with removal of the right side that covers the breakers. Take pics as you remove parts so you will know where they go back.  That fan can be found at any parts store or off the net. If you go to a parts store just put the old one on the counter and tell them you need a new one. Whatever you do don't tell them it came off a Foretravel as you will get the deer in the headlight look. I think the replacement part number for that fan motor is here on the Forum somewhere.

I believe that is a Victory SCS HC212 unit, and if so I've attached some info.

Some pictures available here: Heater core replacement (https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=10000)

So looks like I probably should replace the heater core as well when in there

Found a complete blower unit at FT. Brad had one left.
