Title: 2001 U320 36’ question - compartment exhaust fan factory temperature setting
Post by: Michaelhayley on September 28, 2025, 02:31:41 pm
Good afternoon.
In my 2001 U320 36' - What are the factory temperature settings for the original factory thermostat that turns "on" and "off" the storage compartment exhaust fan?
At what temperature does it turn "on" the fan?
At what temperature does it turn it "off" ?
I know the fan works because I used a blow dryer and it came on.
I attached a picture of it for reference.
The reason for my interest is I want to keep that storage area air flow more continuous to try and keep my upgraded Inverter operating cooler in there.
I live in warm weather areas and I might want to change the thermostat or adjust its settings if that is even possible. I have not opened the metal plate to look inside until I learn more from you all.
Thank you!

I'm not certain if its the same one that we had in our 03' so take this for what its worth.

WHITE RODGERS Snap Disc  Fan Control P/N 4E116 ... White-Rodgers 4E116 Emerson Fan Control Switch (https://maraindustrial.com/switches/34422-whiterodgers-4e116-emerson-fan-control-switch.html)

Adjustable Snap Disc Fan Control Switch, Control Type Fan Switch
Action Close On Rise
Contact Current Rating Resistive @ 240VAC 25 Amps
Contact Current Rating Resistive @ 240VAC 25 Amps
Inductive Rating @ 120VAC 14 Amps
Inductive Rating @ 240VAC 10 Amps
Pilot Duty Power Rating @ 120-240V 125 Volt Amps
Temperature Setting Range 90-130 Degrees Fahrenheit
Differential 20 Degrees Fahrenheit, Single Pole, Single Throw

On the back side of that switch there is a adjustment screw where you can set the "on" temp.  I don't know the default setting, I think it was 100.

You can adjust the temp under the cover. Be aware - that has power on inverter as well as shore.  Don't ask how I found that out. (ouch). Kill shore AND inverter to adjust.

Thank you very much for the information. I appreciate the heads up about the electrical current bring on when adjusting.
