I am at a rest stop in Utah and wanted to get an early start, but when I started to take off and pressed the travel mode button the light blinked a couple of times and went off and the system did not go to travel mode. I took the park brake off and still nothing. What do I do? This is our first long trip in our new to us 2002 U320 and so far things have not been going so well, but I digress. Thanks for anyone's help.
Are your tanks aired up? Any "level system" alarm light and "dinging"?
Are you getting an "excess slope" light? If so, can you carefully level manually, then try going into travel mode?
Others will likely chime in; calling James Triana at the factory is also recommended - he's gotten us out of a bind on more than one occasion.

Here's the HWH Foretravel leveling manual and the generic textbook to help with troubleshooting. The first one gives you some things to try/check if the coach won't go into travel mode.

Did ALL of the HWH LED's flash on & off simultaneously at any point? Are ALL of the lights off now and don't respond to pushing level once and then trying to move individual Coach sides up/down or front to rear up/down? If so, a likely suspect might be the connector on the back of the HWH dash control panel has come loose and needs to be pushed back onto the board mounted, male socket. Flip the dash up in front of the Steering wheel and jockey the connector a little to see if it produces anything. James Triana also a BEST option. Good luck. Give us status and more details.

If you don't have James' phone number
936-564-8367
In case you do not know this, it does not matter where you bought your coach. James will answer all phone calls to the best of his ability and his ability is pretty darn good.
There is a pressure switch on the rear manifold that controls the "Travel" light.
If you go under the coach and unplug it ,the "travel" Light should comes on.
If so, you need to replace the pressure switch.
You can drive it like that IF you appear to be level and it is only the pressure switch not reporting you are level.
I am dealing with that issue now myself.
It could be something simple like a loose cable/wire connection on the back of the control panel or main control board. My 96 U270 would not self level once and all the red and yellow lights were on and that was the problem.
Have you tried the reset button?
Did you have your slides out. It could be that one is not hitting the button to say that it is in and the level light is still on. If you have a box in your bay wiht a bunch of green lights on it or one light no green that will be a telling factor. The other thing you can do if everything is in is throw the switch in the HWH system to override the system. Your light will stay on and ding but you can move. I know how to do it ofr older units but yours may be a bit different if you have the bay full of all the electronics. THeere should be labels on them for HWH though. I have a big silver box hanging from the top of the bay but you should have a couple clear boxes on the wall.

Where did you go??? Have you got them working yet???
Sorry for disappearing. I got things going and got on the road and totally forgot about checking back. After trying everything logical even though I had not run the living room slide out out the system was acting like a slide out was not in properly, so I ran the slide out out and back in and everything worked. Go figure. Thanks for everyone's replies and sorry for not checking back in sooner.
That might mean you have a sensor that needs to be realigned.
