Odyssey Batteries

Anyone out there has ever use Odyssey batteries?  I was at a Batteries Plus franchise today and was inquiring about the Optima batteries they sell.  The store manager told me that since the Optimas manufacturing was moved to Mexico they've had nothing but quality problems.  A significant number of returns due to failures.  He then offered a better substitute made by Exide under the Odyssey Brand.  It has a 10% premuim price over the Optimas.

Our two exide batteries (from FOT-before I knew better) lasted 20 months..two months past the warranty. Hard to find a dealer.
 
NOT recommended.  FWIT..

Our experience with Exide golf cart batteries (wet cell) was not good, and researching the golf cart boards I found poor opinion of the brand.
