12.2V

Sifting through some older threads...  want to verify

Is 12.2 Volts about the right setting for the AutoStart on my generator?

Thats what I have mine set at.

Barry did you also set a voltage level for it to stop the gen?

I believe it was 14.2vdc on my Dynagen BMC-12

The way I interpret the info,  and you need to read the info, yes starting genset at 12.2 is correct, and the charging system limits the upper voltage to 14.2 using Gel Cell batteries.
Just taking the battery voltage to 14.2 is not fully charged, why the generator keeps running for additional time, I think 3 hour total run time.
As mentioned, this is my understanding, and how my system works and it works very fine, however
I am certain there are brighter writers who have other opinions.
Recommend reading the manuals to to learn from the pros who have deeper knowledge on subject.
