Satelite Equipment ?

I was wondering If I should toss this stuff or sell it on Craigs List?

If upgrades would be available from Datron that would make it have some value.  I dumped a complete satellite system in the dumpster at FOT (new in box) that couldn't be upgraded. Well, may have been able to, but cost was more than a new system.  I got it from a friend who bought it new for his boat, then they put cable into his marina so it sat in his garage for 8 years.

Art,
You might want to post it over in the Escapee's for sale section, there will probably be more traffic.

Art, I had the same dish on the roof of my GV. All the wires were cut just outside of the base and the receiver in the coach was gone. The previous owner had a Kingdome installed. I took the dish off the roof, removed the motors, belts, and limit switches. Just inside the fiberglass housing is the cable connection. Now, when I can't get a signal from the Kingdome because trees are blocking the signal I can put this salvaged dish out where it picks up the satellite signal. Obviously some tinkering has to be done for alignment purposes but the signal comes thru loud and strong!! Maybe someone would be interested in the dish for the same reason I had. It only needs the DirecTV receiver and going into the menu and changing the setup to 18"dish with one LNB because the LNB runs on 18+/- volts from the receiver.
