Arduino micro

It's an open-source prototyping system with lots of available bits, that hobbyists  are using for controllers of all different types.

A basic controller board is ~$25-30.  interface stuff (relays, input adapters, etc) would all be custom, but cheap parts.  You could program it from the comfort of your own laptop in your rig,  andt with one key stroke you could disable your entire coach  :)), (thereby earning the complete affection and admiration of your DW/DH.) 

Other important innovations would also be possible.  Imagine how cool your friends would think you were if all your slides and airbags could actuate in time to music from your sound system!  Take that, Newell owners!

Dave, Many thanks for the info abt Arduino micro etc, can see many areas for its use, not the slide, door locks, leveling and blow the horn at programmed times.
I have been a fan of controls, relays, timers etc. Works well in my generator business, some times you have to come up with some creative solutions to non standard issues.
