Dometic shelf bars

After 9 years using Dometic refrigerators, I think DW has hit on one of those "well duh" moments. On our last move, she figured out that those little bars that flip up to hold things on the shelf also slide in and out! I'll be darned; if the shelf is half full you can slide the bar in half way. I sure hope we are the only ones to take 9 years to figure this out. See photo.

That's a new one on me as well.  Been RVing for decades and never noticed that either.  Thanks

Well who knew?  And we've been RVing for 11 years.

Now if only I could keep our fridge as neat and organized as yours....

Good to know. We'd had our coach 6 mos. before we realized that was a big storage drawer below the stove, and not just a decorative cover over where an oven would go. DUH!!!

Well. I'll be darned. I knew they moved in and out, kept getting catty-wampus, and I'd straightened 'em out but never thought to do it on purpose to secure things on the shelf. Thanks, now I can go back to bed. I've learned something already, today.

both my wife and I though Foretravel forgot a place for pots and pans when they layed out the kitchen. Duh one day a large drawer appeared under the cook top.  Joe

I learn something new each day on this forum. I never noticed the bars moved back and forth. Next trip I'll try them out.

Heard the first owner of my coach (14 years ownership) never knew the rear barrel chair was a recliner till the second owner told him.

Was sitting down on the couch the other day, after 5 days in the new to us coach, and thought, I sure wish I could turn on an overhead under cabinet light, leaned back and there was a switch, same color as the walnut.  Thanks Foretravel designers.
