Tracstar sat dome

Brought the U295 home today  and This is really going to seem basic, maybe on the edge of ignorant: but, how do you turn the tracstar sat off.
 I finally unhooked the power. It was on today and I put it in storage and it kept hunting for the sat.
Button on left says start/stop  but the stop seemed to be just a pause. No manual found in the coach.
Everyone probably has one of these as they were fairly standard in 02.  This may even be a negative karma.

That's a good question, Dan... and easily answered from the manual.  I downloaded it long ago (since I too didn't find it an intuitive piece of equipment to operate):  "Power can also be turned off by pressing the ENTER and '–' button simultaneously for 3 seconds."  I'll attach both the operations/installation manual AND the technical support manual for the SV360.  Although we had a TracStar originally with the '03, we replaced it with an open dish (for HD).  Hope this helps!

Make sure MOT shoots the most current update for the firmware in the 360. It will hunt a long time otherwise.

John: I assume they did,  they appear to be on top of things.  By the way, appears they got rid of the sqeak in the front slide.  Quiet as a mouse coming home.  Dan
